Writers in the Library
Nicholas Delbanco at Writers in the LibraryYou are invited to a reading by distinguished author Nicholas Delbanco. Delbanco is the author of more than twenty books. His novels include What Remains, Spring and Fall, and his celebrated Sherbrookes trilogy. His most recent work of nonfiction is The Art of Youth: Crane, Carrington, Gershwin, and the Nature of First Acts, which profiles prodigies who produce their major work at an early age. In addition to presenting his own work, Delbanco will pay tribute to Jon Manchip White, writer and former professor of English at UT, who died earlier this year. Delbanco will read from a forthcoming collection of correspondence between himself and White. Monday, September 16, 2013 Q&A for all interested students: 3-4 pm, Sept. 16, 1210 McClung Tower For more information contact Martha Rudolph, mrudolp2@utk.edu, |
