In Cuerpo Náufrago (Shipwrecked Body) and her other novels, Ana Clavel plays with the relationship between gender, bodies, and desire. Discovering Clavel's literature and art installations helped lead me to develop my dissertation on Mexican literature and art and explore the boundaries of gender and sexuality.
