SGA Open Educator Award Nomination Form

Step 1 of 2

  • About the Award

Nominate an instructor who uses open educational resources (OERs) in the classroom for the SGA Open Educator Award! Learn more about the award and OERs before submitting a nomination.

This form has three questions about you (the nominator) and seven questions about the instructor & course you want to nominate. We will contact you if we have questions, but will not share your information with others.
  • Nominator Information

  • You must be a student to nominate an instructor.
  • Before You Move On

Please try to answer all the questions on the next page so that the review committee has enough information to properly evaluate the nomination.

Important!: Course materials that are accessible to UT students through shared licenses (such as most e-journals available through the UT Libraries) are NOT considered OERs. That's because OERs are open -- available to everyone, everywhere, for free, no login required.
