Nick Kim
Nick taught at West High School for seven years after graduating from the UT Master’s program in 2011 where he taught students from 9th to 12th grade algebra to calculus. In addition, he also coached girls and boys soccer at West High School. Currently, Nick is a third year PhD student and graduate teaching associate in Teacher Education concentrating on Mathematics Education. His research interests include mathematics teacher recruitment and retention as well as other topics such as family STEM nights to participation structures such as presentation group/individual roles in mathematics classrooms.
