Adam Hunley and Ashley McNealy

Adam Hunley is a 2nd career teacher coming from the field of sales. He has taught for 5 years at Elk Valley School as the 7th and 8th grade Math and Science teacher. Last year, he served on the STEM leadership team along with the elementary STEM lead teacher, as they obtained STEM designation though TN Board of Education. In addition to the designating process, he completed the Innovative Leaders Institute through TSIN. Last year he served as the Teacher Leader for Math and will continue to do so in the upcoming year. He has been married for 24 years and has 3 children and 2 grandchildren, and his hobbies consists of music and outdoor activities.

Ashley McNealy is in her 12th year teaching for Campbell County Schools. She has taught all grades from Pre-K-4th with her favorite grades to teach being 2nd-4th. Her husband is a high school technology teacher, and they both enjoy STEM teaching. They have a 8 year old daughter, and their family hobbies are biking, camping, traveling the world, and playing music together; and currently they are hosting a foreign exchange student from Taiwan this year.
