We are pleased to announce that Christine Thorson has joined us as the Music Library Daytime Supervisor.  Christine comes to the Music Library after serving as a residential life housing manager at UT’s Tennessee Governor’s Academy and teaching private voice lessons to a wide range of students.  Among her many duties at the Music Library, Christine will manage circulation activities, supervise the reserve operation, assist with reference queries, and hire, train, and supervise student library assistants.  Her first day was Monday, January 30th and she’s now busy settling in to the position and meeting colleagues and library users.  Please join us in welcoming Christine to the UT Libraries!
