Library Express
Library Express (LX) delivers books, bound periodicals and scanned copies from Hodges Library, Hoskins Storage, and Knoxville campus branch libraries. LX also retrieves books from departmental offices and returns them to the library. There is no charge for these book pickup and drop off services.
LX also provides copies from books, journals, and other materials owned by UT Libraries. There is a charge for this service.

Placing your order...
- for campus delivery or library pick-up: Use the "Request" link in the Libraries Catalog.
- for desktop delivery of articles and chapters: Use Library Express via ILLiad.
- for departmental pick-up/library return of your borrowed materials, call or email LX or place a pick-up request via ILLiad. Be sure to tell us your campus department, location, and number of items for return.
