Interlibrary / Document Delivery Services

Interlibrary / Document Delivery Services will help you obtain the books, journals, articles, maps, videos, and other library materials that you need.


Request items available at the UT Libraries

  • Library Express
    • Use the "Request" link in the UT Libraries catalog to request items from the UT Libraries' collections. Faculty, graduate students and staff may request campus delivery or hold for pickup. Undergraduates may request hold for pickup at one of the libraries.
    • Use ILLiad to order desktop delivery of items in the UT Libraries' collections, such as articles or chapters. There is a charge for this service.

  • Storage
    • UT students, faculty, and staff may submit requests for Storage items in the same way as other items, using the "Request" link in the catalog, or using ILLiad.
    • Any UT Libraries card holder can request an item from Storage using the online form.

Request items not available at the UT Libraries

  • Interlibrary Loan - Use Interlibrary Loan to request books, articles and other materials that the UT Libraries does not own. This service is for UT faculty, students, and staff.
