The Metropolitan Planning Department of Nashville and Davidson County has developed a new method for generating student population projections. The student population projections will provide both the School Board and the Planning Department with more accurate information that will be useful in planning for new schools and when they will need to be built to meet the growing demands of the community....

Next Board Meeting

The next board meeting is scheduled for July 31, 10:00 CDT at the US Fish and Wildlife Office, 446 Neal Street, Cookeville, TN. If traveling on I 40, take Exit 287 onto S Jefferson Avenue and turn right onto Neal Street, the third traffic light after exiting the interstate. Turn left after Horner-Rausch Optical (approximately 0.15 mile). Travel up the hill to the first building on the right. The USFS office is directly behind the Federal Express office. Directions can also be found at http://cookeville.fws.gov/docs/where.html. All TNGIC members are welcomed to attend.

Instructions to join the TNGIC listserv

The machine that has hosted the list at the Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation (TDEC) for the past two years is being replaced. The TNGIC Board and membership express their gradtitude for the valuable service hosted by TDEC. The service hosted at TDEC will be turned off during the week of June 3, 2002, and replaced with the new list hosted at topica.com.
