Announcements
Molly distributed copies of a proposal for a poster session at ALA in June 2002. She and Thura submitted it to ALA on Jan. 30th. The proposed session is entitled "Diversity@Our Library: The Evolution of a Diversity
Initiative at UT Libraries."
Becky shared with the Committee her idea for the Libraries hosting an “early bird” fair for UT students. The Committee may want to pursue how they might become involved in such an event.
Climate Survey Results
The remainder of the meeting focused on the results of the climate survey, and how and what to present to the library staff at the upcoming all-staff forum on February 13th. Tamara presented the outline for a slide
presentation for the forum. Publicity plans for the forum were made. The forum content and logistics will be further discussed at the Committee’s Feb. 7th meeting.
