Erick Veliz
Erick Veliz currently works with the Tennessee Fair Housing Council as a
discrimination case specialist. He has also worked with Amnesty
International USA (AIUSA) as a legislative coordinator, and was recently
nominated to the Board of Directors. As legislative coordinator for AIUSA,
his advocacy efforts focused on refugee rights, women's rights, and the
Denounce Torture campaign. Additionally, he has collaborated in advocacy
efforts with the Coalition of Immokalee Workers, Robert F. Kennedy Center
for Human Rights, National Council of Churches and the Make Trade Fair
campaign.
