IT Technologist III, Pay Grade 37

DEPARTMENT: Hodges Library, Library Outreach

SALARY: $24,460.32

HOURS: Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., some flexibility

Duties: Maintains and designs Web pages and creates multimedia design for UT Libraries as part of Library Outreach. Demonstrates understanding of Web layout principles and graphic design concepts. Able to use Adobe/Macromedia (Photoshop, Dreamweaver, etc) creative software. Fluency with CSS, HTML and Javascript. Knowledgeable about Web page functionality. Strong time management skills; creative problem solver; able to work independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications:

Required: Bachelor’s degree with experience in communications, electronic media, graphic design and/or information studies and technology or other related field or equivalent work experience . One year work experience in Web design (student and internship experience is fine). Excellent communication skills. Must provide online portfolio of previous work.

Preferred: Experience working in libraries, education, work involving interaction with the public or teaching.
