General Purpose

To support instruction, study, and research at B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. levels in Zoology.

Subject Description

The program covers the following subject areas: aquatic biology and ecology, cell biology and radiation biology, physiology, genetics, organismal and field biology, and reproduction and developmental biology.

Overlap with Other Subjects

Zoology overlaps with psychology, biochemistry, biology, ecology, microbiology, animal science, veterinary medicine, and wildlife and fisheries science.

English is the primary language of the collection.

The collection is international in scope with an emphasis on United States publications.

Emphasis is on current research.

Interlibrary loan is a source of materials not in the UT collection.
