Subject Description Plant Sciences encompasses studies in Ornamental
Horticulture, Landscape Design, and Plant and Soil Sciences. The program emphasizes
the following subject areas: turf culture, floriculture, greenhouse management,
landscape design, and nursery management; crop physiology, crop ecology, crop
breeding and genetics, soil science, weed control, and agricultural meteorology.
