Focus is primarily on the United States.

Emphasis is on current literature. Historical items are added secondarily.

Mainly current publications are added.
Retrospective Acquisitions
Retrospective collecting is performed to fill gaps in the collection, both
monographs and journals.

The types of materials added are primarily research journals, practical
application journals, publications of national professional associations,
and conference proceedings.
Formats of Materials Collected and Excluded
Primarily print materials are collected. Electronic and audiovisual
publications are added selectively.
Cooperation with Other Libraries
No formal cooperative collection development agreements are in place.
Alternative Access to Resources
In addition to interlibrary loan, the collection of the UT Law Library is
a source of materials not in the UT collection.
