RSS Feeds at the Libraries

RSS, also known as Really Simple Syndication, is a file format used to publish frequently updated content such as blog entries, news headlines or podcasts. An RSS document, which is usually called a "feed", contains either a summary of content from an associated web site or the full text.

RSS feeds can be read using an online service like Google Reader or software such as NetNewsWire (Mac) or FeedDemon (Windows). Many web browsers and email programs are also able to read RSS feeds.

To read a feed (also called subscribing) click on the orange RSS button. What's New at the Libraries has several RSS feeds.
