Introduction to Adobe InDesign

Course Description

Description: This class is intended to help you learn how to use Adobe InDesign to create a multi-page document. You'll learn to format a page template, add text, images, captions and more.
Course Format:
You will work on a 2-page layout during this hour-long hands-on class.

none

Course Objectives

  1. Present an overview of the InDesign workspace and its elements.
  2. Focus on basic tools used to create layouts that include text, images, and graphic elements.

Course Outcomes

  1. Participants should gain an understanding of working with basic elements to create a poster.
  2. Participants should be familiar with the default InDesign workspace, its palettes and some tools.
