The Tennessee Newspaper Project (TNP) is part of the United States Newspaper Program, a national effort to locate, catalog, and preserve on microfilm newspapers published in the United States from the earliest colonial days to the present. Grant funding is provided by the National Endowment for the Humanities and technical support is provided by the Library of Congress.The project is based in Knoxville at the University of Tennessee Libraries.
