UT Libraries is moving archival collections into a new offsite storage facility, The Special Collections Reading Room is closed until October 7th. Staff are working offsite and unvailable during this time. Reference and reproduction services are unavailable.
October 7 through early 2027. Reading Room will open with access to rare books and a small selection of manuscript collections.
January 19, 2027. All manuscript and archives collections will be available when classes resume for the spring semester. Reproduction and references services available.
The Betsey B. Creekmore Special Collections serves the research needs of students, faculty, staff, visiting researchers, and the public.
The Betsey B. Creekmore Special Collections at UT Knoxville is made up of the following:
