Biography:

Born in 1917 in Glasgow, Kentucky, Margaret (Vance) completed her AB in 1939 at Western Kentucky University, and received her MA from the University of Tennessee in 1945. She was a high school teacher, assistant principal, and guidance director. Anderson was a member of several professional organizations including the American Personnel and Guidance Association, National Education Association, National Parent-Teacher Association, Tennessee Personnel and Guidance Association, Tennessee Education Association, East Tennessee Education Association and Delta Kappa Gamma.
