Configuring EndNote on Your PDA

With the Palm Software Already Installed on the PC...


1.  Place Palm handheld device in cradle.

2.  Insert Endnote CD in drive.

3.  Click the Install EndNote button to begin installation.

4.  Read Welcome to the EndNote 8 Installation Wizard and
     click the Next button.

5.  Read (or not) the Read Me information and click the Next
     button.

6.  Read (or not) the Palm Read Me information and click the
     Next button.

7.  Enter your name and the EndNote Serial Number under
     Registration Information and click the Next button.

 

  

8.  Accept the license agreement.

9.  Select Typical as the installation type.

10. Select the destination folder on the local PC hard drive for
      the EndNote installation. Usually the default destination
      folder is best.

11. Click the Next button when ready to install.

12. Answer Yes to the question Do you want to install the
     EndNote for Palm OS application and conduit?

13. Click the Finish button when notified that EndNote 8 is
      successfully installed.

14. Synchronize the Palm handheld device (this will install
     EndNote on the Palm).
