EBSCO Direct Export and Windows XP

The latest Windows XP service pack caused the Direct Export
feature in EBSCO databases to stop working with EndNote.
EBSCO is working on this problem, but until it's fixed you will
need to download your EBSCO records as text files and import
them into EndNote using a filter.

1. Mark records.

2. Click the Folder has Items button.

3. Click Save to Disk.

4. Click on the Bibliographic Manager tab, choose Citations in a
format that can be uploaded to bibliographic management
    software
, and click Save.

5. From your browser, go to File and Save As.

6. Name your file and put the extension .txt on the end. Be sure
to change the file type to Text File [*.txt].

7. From your EndNote library, click on File - Import.

8. Choose the text file you just saved and then choose the
appropriate EBSCO filter (e.g. Acad Search Elite (EBSCO)).
