Some Notes About the Author Field:

1. Enter an author name as last name, first
    Shakespeare, William or first name, last
    William Shakespeare.

2. To enter multiple authors, put each author on a separate
    line. Do Not Use abbreviations - EndNote will
    automatically abbreviate according to your output style.

3. To enter a corporate author – such as the University of
    Tennessee, enter:
    University of Tennessee,

    By placing the comma at the end, you trick endnote into
    keeping the author in the proper order instead of
    Tennessee , University of

been entered into EndNote.
