To manually enter citations into your EndNote library:

1. Select References , Choose New Reference

2. Select type of reference (book, journal article, thesis,
    map, equation, etc.)

    Note: See next slide for tips on the author field.

3. Enter citation information by clicking once in the
    field you want to fill in.

    Use Tab and Shift Tab to move forward and
    backward between fields.

4. After entering all of the citation information, click
    the X to close the citation window.

Note:Be careful not to close the EndNote program! If you do
accidentally close the program, your EndNote library will
still be saved.
