Link To or Imbed File?

Sometimes it is appropriate to link to a file in EndNote and sometimes it is better to embed the file in your EndNote library.

1. Click on URL to learn about linking to a file or article.

2. Click on Link To PDF to learn about linking to or embedding a PDF.

Note: Embedding files in your EndNote library can generate a very large library file size. Store your library on a USB drive or other large capacity removable media.
