  • Issues and Legislation. Can connect to current events of the 2004 elections, plus a wide range of policy and political issues.

  • Congressional Research Service Reports
  • Reports produced for Congress by the Library of Congress. From the Law Librarians' Society. Is a selected list of most of the reports that are on the Internet.

  • Congressional Research Service Reports(agriculture and food issues)
  • Over 200 reports on topics such as avian flu, international trade, mad cow disease, biotechnology, U.S. agriculture after Katrina, and much more.

  • Electronic Policy Network
  • Has timely information and ideas on national policy and politics. Topics include welfare, education, health, media.

  • National Issues.com
  • Covers such policy issues as education, social security, gun control, taxes, foreign policy, etc. Is a non-partisan site that provides the pro and con debate.

  • Access to pending issues, parties, and PACS.

  • Has a good hot topics section.

  • U.S.National Budget Simulation
  • A simulation game that helps you understand the complexities of economic policy. The game allows you to reduce or increase different categories of the federal budget.
