A Research Guide to Newspapers
Historical Collection
Several databases provide access to significant historical newspapers. In addition to electronic access,there is an extensive collection of backfiles on microfilm. Microfilm is located on the 1st Floor of the Hodges Library(Periodicals, Documents, and Microforms section) - Consult the UT Libraries Catalog for the library's holdings of particular titles.

This online collection provides images and full text content access historic newspapers published in the 18th, 19th, and 20th centuries. More than 1300 titles from all 50 states.
