  • Full-text access to over 2,000 French texts from the 12th to the 20th centuries.

  • Arts & Humanities Citation Index
  • Indexes 1,144 of the world's leading arts and humanities journals.

  • Dissertation Abstracts
  • Indexes dissertations and theses accepted at accredited institutions worldwide. For information on locating UT dissertations or on searching the library catalog for dissertations, click here.

  • Early English Books Online (EEBO)
  • Full-text access to titles published between 1475 and 1700. The EEBO titles are accessible from the UT Libraries' online catalog.

  • Eighteenth Century Collections Online (ECCO)
  • Provides digital access to every significant English-language and foreign-language title printed in the United Kingdom--nearly 150,000 English-language titles and editions published between 1701 and 1800. You can browse by "Literature and Language" subject area.

  • IBR Online (International Bibliography of Book Reviews)
  • An international, multilingual and interdisciplinary index that provides access to book reviews.

  • IBZ Online (International Bibliography of Periodical Literature)
  • A multilingual database indexing over 5,600 periodicals. Indexes a significant proportion of the periodicals published on the European continent.

  • JSTOR
  • Full-text access to back issues of scholarly journals such as French Review, Modern Language Notes, PMLA, and Yale French Studies. Can browse journals covered by "Language & Literature."

  • Literature Resource Center
  • Provides information on authors of all nationalities. Includes full-text coverage of Dictionary of Literary Biography, Contemporary Authors, and Contemporary Literary Criticism.

  • LLBA - Linguistics, Language & Behavior Abstracts
  • Titles indexed include French Review, French Studies, Journal of French Language Studies, and Langue Francaise.

  • MLA International Bibliography
  • Provides citations to journals, monographs, and dissertations from 1963 to the present. Can limit searches by language. Titles indexed include French Review, Sartre Studies International, and Forum for Modern Language Studies.

  • 19th Century Masterfile (NCM)
  • Locate citations to periodical literature published in the U.S. and Great Britain in the late eighteenth through the early twentieth century.

  • Project Muse
  • Full-text access to current issues (1995- ) of over 200 scholarly journals. Titles covered include French Colonial History, French Forum, French Historical Studies, and Nineteenth Century French Studies.

  • WorldCat
  • Access to over 52 million records of any type of material cataloged by more than 40,000 libraries around the world. Can limit a search by language and to UT Libraries' holdings.
