- A medical multimedia education and specialized information resource center.
- Intute: Health and Life Sciences
- Web resources for the nursing, midwifery, and allied health professions. British in origin. Provides international coverage often lacking in other lists of links.
- Selected Nursing Web Sites
- A particularly fine collection of nursing-related links.

- Provides credentialing information, links to affiliated organizations, nursing news, political awareness information, position statements, links to nursing listserv and newgroup resources, and much more.
- National League for Nursing
- Includes information about accreditation, membership, constituent leagues, testing services and tests, and meetings and workshops."
- Oncology Nursing Society
- For both health care professionals and patients. Brings together links to a wealth of cancer material scattered on the web. Rich source of patient education materials. Includes continuing education, research, clinical practice, news, and more.

- A timely source of clinical nursing information for advanced practice nurses. Registration is required but free. A very content heavy site.

- Nursing Theory Page
- A gateway site leading you to nursing theory pages from a variety of sources.
- NursingCenter.com
- "NursingCenter.com provides nurses of all backgrounds and specialties with a forum to share ideas, access reference materials, advance their careers and education...and read about the social, ethical and political topics affecting the nursing profession." Free registration provides access to all areas of the site.
