Manuscripts & Rare Books
Most manuscript and rare book collections at UT are housed in Special Collections at the Hoskins Library. Manuscript collections in Hoskins Library include files of writers James Agee, Alex Haley and Evelyn Scott, among others. The rare book collection includes important collections of William Congreve and Jane Austen and is strong in 19th century American literature. The following works can be valuable aids in finding manuscript materials. Also search the UT Libraries catalog for the subject manuscripts.
