Internet Guides
These guides are general collections or "meta-indexes" of literary Internet links. They are a good place to begin a search for networked materials dealing with language or literature. Try using search engines like Google and Yahoo as well.

Formerly the "English Server." An interesting combination of original works and pointers to other sites. Hosted by Iowa State University (formerly at University of Washington and Carnegie Mellon). The site includes texts, electronic journals and other Internet materials on many subjects.
A clearinghouse for materials from around the Internet. Includes electronic texts, bibliographies, lectures, and professional information. Source materials in Latin, French, Italian, and Middle English.
Impressive Meta-index of resources compiled by Jack Lynch of Rutgers-Newark. Arranged in chronological and topical categories.
A very extensive meta-index of humanities Internet resources, including sections for: Literature in English, and Literatures other than English.
