Web of Science (Science Citation Index) is a comprehensive scientific database giving access to journal articles in all disciplines. You may perform general keyword searches or cited reference searches, enabling you to trace who has cited a researcher of interest.

Accessing Web of Science from the Databases menu

Finding records related to one already found

Using FindText to determine whether UT has an electronic or print subscription

The cited reference search: finding out who has cited RJ Jendrucko

Databases either contain electronic copies of journal, magazine, and newspaper articles, engineering standards or citations to these articles.

A citation describes the publication information of an article but does not give the full text. Example:

A good buy - The new Brooklyn bridge
Anon Source: Steel Times International, v 29, n 2, February/March, 2005, p 28+30

In the case of citations, you will need to click on the icon provided in the database to determine whether full text/print is available. Or if there is no FindText icon, you will need to look in the UT Libraries Catalog.
