Factiva A UT Libraries business database
Select the "Companies/Markets" to search by company name or ticker symbol for summary financial information about U.S. corporations.

EDGAR Database of Corporate Information <http://www.sec.gov/edgar.shtml>
The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission's collection of corporate financial statements as filed by U.S. public corporations beginning in 1994/96. No annual shareholder reports, but 10K, 10Q, and many other financial disclosure documents are included with a searchable index of the full text of the documents.

Historical Collection of Annual Reports and SEC 10K Reports
An historical collection of annual reports, 10K reports, and proxy statements is available on microfiche in the UT Libraries Documents/Microforms area. Annual reports begin in 1966, 10K's in 1974 and proxies in 1978. Available through 1998.

Mergent Online A UT Libraries business database
Provides downloadable summary financial data plus links to annual corporate shareholder reports for approximately 10,000 U.S. and international public companies.

Standard & Poor's Net Advantage A UT Libraries business database
For U.S. corporations, presents a brief corporate history, financials, corporate actions, and an industry overview with additional financial details in the "Corporation Records" section. Also see "Stock Reports" for analysis of a stock's current position and its future prospects.

Thomson Research A UT Libraries business database
Contains the full text of corporate financial documents of global public companies including annual reports, SEC filings, proxy statements, and registrations from 1995 to present. Also included are brief company reports, current stock quotes, and price graphs.

Value Line Investment Survey a UT Libraries business database
Analyzes the stock market status of about 2000 companies on a quarterly basis. Data provided for each is a one page summary including a history of key investment factors plus future performance estimates and an outline of recent corporate activities.

Investext A UT Libraries business database
A full text collection of reports from brokerage firms and investment banks on companies, products and industries. Among the topics covered are corporate and financial activities, investment status, government regulation, and market activity.

Morningstar.com A UT Libraries business database
From a well-known name in mutual fund analysis, this site contains rating reports and quotes for 2000 mutual funds and 1500 stocks. For each fund, the fund objective and performance are reviewed, plus data on portfolio composition. Analysis of funds and stocks by Morningstar analysts is also available.

The Outlook
From Standard & Poor's, weekly analyses and forecasts for business and stock market trends. Individual stocks as well as industries are discussed, and recommendations for investment are made. Included in Standard & Poor's Net Advantage, a UT Libraries business database
