NMC Symposium on Mashups 2008

The University Libraries and the Innovative Technology Center join to invite you to The NMC Symposium on Mashups.  Sessions will take place in Second Life and broadcast in the Practice Presentation Room in The Commons.

Note: We will register an avatar that group participants can ask questions through.  You do NOT need to register your avatar separately.  

Where:  Practice Presentation Room, Commons South, 2nd floor Hodges Library
When:   April 2 and 3, sessions are scheduled periodically from 12 noon – 8:15pm

Mashups are web applications that combine data from more than one source via a single, unified tool.  Data mashups are powerful tools for navigating and visualizing datasets, and for understanding connections between different dimensions such as time, distance, and locations.
