Hagiography

Greek Fonts

There is a new library database called "Hagiography: A database of
Byzantine Saints, plus associated Greek texts, from the 8th-10th
Centuries." It needs a special old face Greek font for displaying the
full-text of the articles.

Font download and instructions:
http://www.doaks.org/greektext.html

You really don't need instructions because the font just needs to be
downloaded to C:\Windows\Fonts

Now, for your own edification, here is a link to the database itself -
http://www.doaks.org/hagio.html

To see if your Greek font really works, click on "Saints' List" at the
bottom of the screen and then click on "HILARION OF DALMATOS" (just like
the way that one sounds!). Then, click on "Greek Text." Not all of the
entries have Greek text but that one does and it's lovely!
