Binding
The Binding Unit prepares library materials for shipment to our commercial library bindery, Mid Atlantic Book Bindery.
Primary Responsibilities
- Review, collation, and preparation of serials, periodicals, monographs, theses and dissertations
- Writing instruction slips for bindery
- Updating records in the library catalog
- Performance of quality control inspections and inventory for items upon return from bindery
- Packing materials for shipment to the bindery
