The Alumni Academic Hall of Fame was established in 1994 to honor those undergraduate, graduate, or professional school alumni of the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, who have achieved national or international distinction in the arts, letters, sciences, or professions.
The Dean of Libraries officially accepted emplacement
of the Alumni Academic Hall of Fame in the
John C. Hodges Library on September 13, 1995.
