Ordering Videos (Faculty Only)
UTK faculty members located outside of Knoxville may
order videos from the Media Center.
When you know the dates
that you will want to use the video(s), get in touch with the Media Center
staff via email (mediacenter@utk.edu) or telephone
(865-974-4473).
Tell them the title(s) of the video(s), the call
number(s), and the dates for which you will be needing the video and they
will check on the videotape's availability.
Once you have reserved the video by contacting the
Media Center, you won't need to do anything until you are ready to receive
the video. The Media Center will allow you a two week period
to use the video (including shipping/mailing time).
When your two week checkout period begins, go
to ILLiad and request the
movie.
Be sure to add a comment in the "NOTES" field of your request
stating the dates for which the Media Center has approved your video
checkout. The Interlibrary Services staff will then pick up the video for
you, and mail it to you.
