Getting Citation Information from the Library Catalog
Sam is going to check the catalog to get the complete citation
information for the book he wants to request. He knows that
this will help the people in Interlibrary Services find the right
materials quickly.
*Note: Sometimes you will be requesting a book that is
not in our catalog. Then we will try to find it for you in other
libraries. And then you will need to find the citation information in
other places.
Starting at the UT Library homepage, http://www.lib.utk.edu,
Sam clicks on the Catalog link.
*Note: While browsing in the catalog, be sure to click on "My
Account" and attempt to log in and view your information. If
the system recognizes you, then you are a registered user. If you
cannot log in and view your account information, then you may not
be in the system yet. To get entered into the system, contact
us.
