Request Books
If you are student, staff, or faculty of UTK, and you are currently
involved in distance education classes offered by UTK,
you can request books and have them sent to you via FedEx. Signatures are
required for delivery - they will not leave our material at any location
without one - so be sure to leave with us an address where someone is
available to sign for packages during the day.
Loan periods:
- 28 days (4 weeks) for undergraduates
- 112 days (16 weeks) for graduate
students.
Please review UTK Libraries' complete borrowing
policy.
Renewals may be allowed. Please call us for
information. Loan periods for interlibrary loan materials may
vary, depending upon the policies of the lending institutions.
When you have identified books that you would
like to see, you can visit our document
delivery site to make your requests.
When you first visit the
ILLiad site
(for all document delivery), you will need to register.
Be sure to identify yourself as a Distance Education
graduate student, faculty, or undergraduate and to request Distance
Education Delivery if you are located outside of Knoxville.
