color schemes
Ever need help deciding a color scheme for a project? There are many sites and books that can help you. A new site still in beta testing that I've come across and like is dailycolorscheme.com.
Their color schemes come complete with hex, rgb, and hsb codes. You can download the schemes for photosop, illustrator, colorschemer studio, a css file, or an html file. Very simple to work with and convenient.

Save as PDF problem in Illustrator CS
Macosxhints.com has posted a fix for the "Save as PDF" script in Illustrator CS. According to the article, the script doesn't work; it only saves the topmost window's document as a pdf. Note: The script turns off the usual "preserve illustrator editing capability" option when saving to a PDF.
Note: Once we complete our upgrade to Panther, we will also upgrade our Adobe apps to CS. Stay tuned.

Free Adobe online courses for Educators
The Adobe education web site has a growing list of FREE online courses for educators (registration required). From this site, you can go through some self-paced tutorials, download pdf version of the famous "classroom in a book" series, and more.
There are online courses for InDesign, Illustrator, Acrobat, Photoshop, Photoshop Elements, GoLive.
