Apple Introduces Motion

In its quest to provide a full suite of video editing and distribution software, Apple has recently announced Motion. Motion is a motion graphic design and production application that is designed to integrate with Final Cut Pro HD and DVD Studio Pro. Motion can work without keyframes and introduces a "new procedural animation technology" into the mix. This technology provides a library of "behaviors" that can be applied to text and graphics. Motion will be available this summer. We will watch the initial reviews.
