new Digital SLR camera

The Studio has a new Canon Digital Rebel XTi camera available for checkout.

It comes with a Canon EF-S 17-85mm f/4.5-6 IS USM lens. You can read more about the camera and lens on the canon website.

You will need to request a time to complete a one-on-one certificaiton with a studio staff member prior to reserving this camera. It will be able to be checked-out for up to 3 days based on availability and you may begin reserving it on our website now.

eCycle event Saturday, January 13th

Visit the Plug-In to Your Community website for information about their upcoming eCycle day. They are offering a drop off recycling program on Saturday, January 13th at the Staples on Town and Country Circle (Cedar Bluff area).

This one day free eCycle event collects old computers, laptops, parts, peripherals, TVs, and a few other electronic items. All of these items have hazardous materials and should not be disposed of with your regular garbage. This event provides the community with the opportunity to properly recycle these items.

New Digital Camera Lens options

8158A001AA.jpgThe Studio now has a Wide Conversion Lens available for checkout with our Canon PowerShot G6 Cameras. To broaden the angle of your view, the Wide Converter WC-DC58N is available for the G6.

In addition, we now have a set of 3 Tiffen Lens Filters available for the PowerShot G6 cameras. The set includes a UV Protector filter, a Circular Polarizer filter, and a Warming filter.

Both of these items must be checked out with a PowerShot G6 camera. If you are not certified for checkout, you can take the camera certification online today!

Camera circulation is a free service to students, faculty and staff. Simply complete our online camera certification and start checking out the cameras today.
