"COMMUNITY LECTURE" by Dr. Eugene Garfield, Chairman Emeritus of Thomson Scientific, will present "On The Shoulders of Giants - tracing the impacts of information retrieval systems on science policy" at the American Museum of Science & Energy. Dr. Garfield's free lecture at 7 p.m. is co-sponsored by the U. S. Department of Energy Office of Scientific and Technical Information (OSTI), within the Office of Science and the Friends of Oak Ridge National Laboratory (FORNL). Following the program, a Reception with refreshments will be hosted by Information International Associates, Inc., NCI Information Systems., and Deep Web Technologies. Lecture at 7 p.m. followed by Reception. AMSE Auditorium and Lobby. FREE Admission
