EPA Library Closings

SLA, AALL, ALA, and ARL are in strong opposition to the Bush Administration proposal to close the network of libraries and information centers operating within the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). A joint letter from the library associations was sent to Rep. Charles H. Taylor and Rep. Norman D. Dicks, chair and ranking member, respectively, of the House Appropriations Committee, Subcommittee on Interior, Environment, and Related Agencies.
