This music recognition database let's you search themes in instrumental music using note names, intervals, or contour relationships (up, down, same). We have several reference books that serve the same purpose, especially Directory of Tunes and Musical Themes by Denys Parsons (Ref. ML128.I65P33). Use subject heading: Instrumental music -- Thematic catalogs or Vocal music -- Thematic catalogs.
