Indiana University's Music Library lists 73 databases for specialized areas of music research. This is an excellent starting point for any researcher. Check to see what links they provide from the "MLA Obituary Index" to a "Chronology of Modern Music, Art, and World Events" to an "Encyclopedia of Traditional Celtic Music."
