Science Matters

This blog addresses aspects of pathogenesis and evolution of microbes, with a focus on viruses. Topical issues in the media will be discussed, as well as reviews of recent, primary literature.

I am a graduate student in Princeton University's Molecular Biology program. This blog is intended as practice for an eventual career in science writing, which I hope to begin after graduate school. As the blog progresses, I expect my posts to vary in terms of jargon and depth. If you have any questions or comments about my posts, please feel free to send them my way. Constructive criticism is always appreciated.
