CABI ABSTRACTS, the international research database for agriculture and veterinary medicine  contains 35,000 full-text documents. The full text available via CAB Abstracts includes

Conference proceedings

Reports (government reports, international organizations)

Journals articles (many not available through the major aggregators. Including English and non-English documents)

When searching CABI, click on the View full text from CABI Full Text Select button at the bottom of the citation to go straight to the full-text.

The full-text became available January 1, 2009.  Approximately 10,000 full-text documents will be added to CABI per year.  More information is available from CABI, including lists of full-text proceedings, reports, and journal articles.

UT Alum Donates Book Proceeds to Libraries, Literacy Program

UT alum and children’s book author Kathy Sperounis is in Knoxville this month signing copies of her new book, J.A.M.S and the Case of the Minnesota Falcons. The adventurous chapter book is geared toward 8- to 12-year-olds and teaches them to respect and care for nature. Sperounis modeled the main character after her daughter, Jordan Ann Sperounis.

One dollar from each purchase will be donated to to either the UT Libraries, Pellissippi State, or the Knox County Schools’ information literacy program. Below is a schedule of book signings around Knoxville.
