Open Video Project: A Shared Digital Video Project
The Open Video Project has a growing collection of digital video content. The project is mainly focused on research and development relating to multimedia retrieval. Perhaps one day we will be able to search digital video repositories in novel ways. Perhaps one day we will be able to search a digital video library not just by director, title, keyword, subject, etc.; but will also be able to retrieve, for example, all videos that have scenes of handshakes, or smiles, or particular camera angles...who knows.
